Ok so is it a coincidence that the Man Without Fear is making his comeback at the same time as a big marvel event is named Fear Itself? Anyone else wondering if DD may be the key to stopping this ancient god type creature in the event?

Not sure how much damage our boy could do vs a god but with his experience of fighting fear based villains, the Mr Fears and now Cavelera, could he be the man to turn the tide?

Well, Daredevil very effectively battled Hogun in Thor #392 and 393. I'm not enjoying Fear Itself so far, but a well written Daredevil battle is always enjoyable.

personally speaking..

defeating a god might be a bit too much for DD.

Even if he can defeat someone god-like. With him tied to this Big Shots thingy, I doubt he'd appear in Fear Itself.

No one has said anything about DD and Fear Itself so far. If he was involved I think it his relaunch would be directly involved with the FI event, like the new Ghost Rider series.

I wonder how they will explain Cap's cameo, and the current state of the world when Matt returns to NY.

I bet the new daredevil ongoing and the fear itself event will completely ignore each other.

just like with secret invasion, siege, and all those other events..
but most daredevil readers seem to want it that way, anyways.

I wouldnt mind daredevil getting involved in some of the bigger stuff for a change, though.

Holy hell! DD is going to be appear in Fear Itself crossover. And he's gonna do it as the newest member of the New Avengers!
