Hey guys,

My name is John and I'm a member of the Legion of Dudes podcast. We've been releasing shows about comics, movies, tv, video games, etc for almost two years now and can be found at legionofdudes.com.

My latest project is a show called Speak of the Devil. As you can imagine, its a show dedicated to Daredevil. We plan on talking about the current and classic comics, along with any movie related or other news that might come around in the future. We have posted two episodes so far. After speaking with Kuljit, the show has been linked here in the blog network section. I hope some of you will give it a listen and let me know what you think.

Thanks for checking it out! The in-depth stuff is what we have been doing at legionofdudes.com for almost two years. We've been breaking down different graphic Novels and classic collections including Watchmen, Batman Year One, Fables, Walking Dead, etc. If you are a big comic fan in general, I think you would enjoy that as well.

Is that how the format will be? One older DD issue roundtable review (Vol. 1 #1 in episode 1), followed by a newer later release a la #500 (like in episode 2)?

Once we get caught up on the new issues, I think the format will be two shows per month. One for a retro review and one for the newest issue. Of course that can change if there is other news or whatever. I'm already considering covering the new Black Widow book as part of this, since she is so closely related to DD.

Listened to episode #3, good review of issue #s 191 & 501.

I liked the in-depth commentary of Miller's art style on #191 which ground breaking for 1983.

Future shows could include a Top 10 list on everything Daredevil? (Favorite Single Issues, Covers, Villians, Artists, Writers, etc.)

So far I am really enjoying the podcasts. I think in one of them one of you compared Daredevil leading the Hand to Batman joining the League of Assassins. Didn't Batman join Ra's Al Ghul's army and train his people?

I'm surprised you aren't mentioning the correlatives to Batman more in your reviews since this arc seems to be looking at what a character like Batman would be like in the Marvel Universe.

In 119 a policeman sends out a signal to Daredevil and they meet on the roof of the station. He now has unlimited resources and wealth. I'm sure there's more but I don't feel like looking.

Love the legion of dudes and half hour wasted...great stuff..

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
