Kudos to Marvel for doing this...

Marvel has produced an audio edition of DAREDEVIL #1, primarily in part to help visually impaired DD fans enjoy the first issue. Good job, Marvel!

Stellar move by the folks at Marvel. Hearing Mark Waid read his script to describe what is on the page is brilliant. It almost came out like a BBC radio drama. (Well, not quite, but you know what I mean. The BBC has a lot more practice.)

I'd love to know Marvel was going to do this for each issue of DD. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and already have had people as far as Australia passing it along via Twitter from my feed.

Have to admit, it was a hoot to hear that one particular line read, and I totally loved the part about the assistant D. A. being neither disarmed nor charmed by Matt's demeanor.

Yes, Mark Waid really does *get* Daredevil.

it's stuff like this that makes me proud of what Daredevil contributes to the visually impaired. Well done Marvel.

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
