Wasssup dudes, Im currently reading the Bendis/Maleev Ultimate Collection volume 1, and have finished Wake Up.

Now I know Playing to the Camera precedes their run, but it isn't collected in a TPB.

So my question is, is it worth reading? Or can I get onto issue 26 without missing anything important?

Playing to the Camera is a rather inconsequential story. Bendis doesn't refer or allude to it in any way during his long subsequent run.

***SPOILER ALERT *** (EVEN THOUGH THESE ISSUES CAME OUT A DECADE AGO)

I always find it odd that both Bendis and Bob Gale (the writer of Playing to the Camera) used the outing of Daredevil's secret identity as the meat of their stories. I was always annoyed that so much was made of Bendis' secret identity story, when the arc that immediately preceded his involved the same story device.
