Spoiler warning

I read the end several times, and I'm wondering if I understand the plan. It's clear that Punisher, Daredevil and Spider-Man are going to attack Megacrime, and then destroy the drive - but were they going to have Reed download the data on the organizations first? That part wasn't clear (at least to me).

I think that their point was that Reed wouldn't have just gotten the data on Black Spectre for Matt .... He's likely got the whole shebang on file.
So, Megacrime will think that Matt can't acess the data, and he's destroyed it, while they keep them distracted all night, they won't be able to do much about it. Then, poof! Disc is gone, but they've still got the info with Reed.

That can't be, because of the particular of Matt having revealed that he had made all the data on black spectre public, right in front of the organization emissaries, in DD 24.1. They know he has a way of extracting the data now.

When Spiderman questions why DD didn't pull all of the data, DD notes that there wasn't enough time. I'm guessing that fully retrieving the data takes a few hours.

Think of an external hard drive. I was copying some of my digital comic files to my new tablet last week. When I transferred 100 or so issues at once, it took 20+ minutes to transfer. When I did a few comics at a time or smaller runs, they were almost instantaneous. Black Spectre is AT MOST 1/5 of the drive's contents. Being a smaller organization than Hydra and AIM, they might have less data to retrieve. For all we know, Hydra's files could be larger than the three lesser organizations combined.

As for the plan, it appears that Reed will spend the entire night transferring/copying the contents of the drive. As a distraction, Spidey, DD, and the Punishers hit the four remaining 'Megacrime' cartels. Come morning, Reed has done his job, the data is ready for use, and DD publicly destroys the 'Omega Drive,' leading the cartels to believe the data is gone (as opposed to in Reed and whoever else's hands).

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
