Joe Quesada Says Marvel Studios Are "Really Excited" About Regaining DAREDEVIL Rights
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige remained coy when asked about The Man Without Fear during press for Iron Man 3, but Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada has now revealed that they're excited to have the rights and are thinking about what could be done with the character. Check it out!
Talking at his "Cup O; Joe" panel at the San Diego Comic-Con earlier today, Marvel's Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada was asked by one fan about what is happening with Daredevil now that the studio has regained the rights from 20th Century Fox. Marvel Studios never seemed all the desperate to get their hands on Matt Murdock as they at one point offered go let the rival studio keep him in return for Galactus and the Silver Surfer, but it seems as if they are trying to find a place for him in the MCU. "We're trying to air it out," said Quesada. "We love Daredevil, and we're really excited. We just got the property back. Will there be something with Daredevil down the road? I would love it. But we just got it back. It's way too soon to guess what's going to happen with the character." What do you guys think? Should Daredevil be part of "Phase Three"?

The best application for Daredevil is a TV series. I always believed Daredevil has all of the elements of the most popular TV shows of the last decade, but with more to offer. I believe Daredevil will excel in this format best. Not that I don't want an awesome Daredevil movie. I do, but I think TV is where to start. I also think that doing a direct to dvd animated movie would be appropriate as well. By doing a successful TV sow will re-establish the character to the masses and also provide the necessary "Ben Affleck" cleanse. _________________ www.comicgeekspeak.com

Hopefully DD makes an appearance in "Agents of Shield" this fall. Television does seem like the right place for street level heroes.
Daredevil would great in an animated series. His back story of overcoming adversity could be a positive message for a lot of kids. |

I really like the idea of a direct-to-DVD animated movie, but not directed at kids. |

I would love to see a Daredevil Full Feature Movie, I would love to see an anime style animated movie, I would love to see a TV show and/or a saturday morning type corny cartoon/serious cartoon. |
