Did anyone else catch Daredevil's appearance in Hulk #4 this week?

If you did, did you, like me, have a problem with the way Maria Hill fooled Matt? Don't you think Matt's heightened hearing would have been able to tell the difference between the real Bruce Banner on the line and a cyber version?

I thoroughly enjoyed Daredevil Volume 3, but have not liked Volume 4 nearly as much. Now that Mark Waid is leaving the Hulk, maybe his work will pick up again, and we won't get more of these weird goof-ups from an obviously talented writer.

Well, we don't know how good SHIELD's technology is. Also, I'd think that with a phone call, there'd already be some interference that Matt would automatically pick up and filter out (static, echoes, background noise). I'd say that it's plausible that he'd notice a bit more static or 'tinniness' on the call and chalk it up to a bad connection.

...Or maybe I'm okay with it because ever since Bruce was shot, I was wondering what was going to happen when Matt didn't hear from him and then I was wondering why it wasn't happening. At least now we know.

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
