I enjoyed the ending of Brubaker's run, and I read Dark reign: the list: daredevil before reading #501. In 502 and 503 I've been noticing something kind of strange that's making me wonder if I missed something. Tarantula keeps talking to Matt about the kitchen as if Matt hasn't beem tjere fpr a while and is returning. He says a bunch of things that don't seem to make sense because I know Matt never left the city. Even when he was off his game and being manipulated by Lady Bullseye, he didn't miss anything that happened. He was pretty much there at the epicenter of all the changes that went down. So what's Taarantula talking about when he talks like he's filling Matt in on what's been going on lately? Did I miss an issue?

I can't recall what happened exactly because it's been a while but could it be that Matt went to Japan around this point?

Matt went to Japan in issue #505.

He was being updated by Black Tarantula because he was holed up in the sewers undergoing trials to be the leader of the hand. And throughout the Diggle run, he referred to Black Tarantula as his eyes and ears. So this should not be a surprise.
