awesome. I was hoping hed be in season 2. This should be great. lets just hope season 2 doesnt get overloaded with charcters.

Punisher in season 2 will bring Matt more into discussions with his Catholicism and it's inevitable that Punisher will get shipped off to jail (to no doubt escape) as DD takes him down, though it will be with no hard feelings. Punisher goes to jail but the free Daredevil loses his pride and dignity. For those hoping the Punisher dominates season 2, I would hope the writers stay clear of that as the true focus always needs to play out the tension between Matt and Wilson.

A short burst of an excellent Punisher storyline is all we really need in an episode or two just like Stick but maybe slightly more. This can result in a franchise for Mr. Castle or a drop in to the Defender's universe at any time.

Think two hours of "Dirty Laundry" but better.

This guy was quite annoying in Walking Dead, but still, he has THAT face. So, I'll just sit here, watching my show again until second season kicks in again. Cool

I mean i enjoy a good daredevil and punisher fight but punisher being the main enemy might be too much. How do you guys feel about it?

As I said before, my opinion is that DD vs the Punisher can't be the only focus unless Marvel plans to make some 20 seasons of DD.

The Netflix format is a 13 hour movie and one major theme worked in the first run with the buildup of Matt vs Fisk and the back alley brawl was the perfect ending for round 1. To think that they can bring this magic back with just anti-hero Frank they are mistaken and in my opinion it won't go the distance as it always needs to be about Matt and Fisk.

The Punisher torturing and killing with Matt on a manhunt will degrade the series if that is what it's only all about. A few episodes would be great and be enough to wet people's attitudes to a Spin off Punisher Netflix series but please no more.

He can be a part of the series but he can't be on equal footing with Fisk who is after all the greatest super villain with no super powers.

Do we really want to see less of Kingpin?

The writer's thus far have showed true heart into what makes our favorite hero DD tick and it would be disappointing if they don't continue from last seasons success and realize that the Punisher is no Kingpin!

It is still early in their pre-marketing planning so let their be some buzz concerning their new actor. DD vs Punisher today may not be how it plays out next year.

I take rumors with a grain of salt right now. I suspect Punisher will be a strong presence throughout the season, but I also suspect there will be other things besides the two just fighting.
