I feel like they've done a very good job of blending two very different stories together. The beginning and end are very creepy. The Hand are mysterious and scary. On the other side of things, there's Frank Castle and Karen and all that stuff. Tying everything together is Matt's increasing isolation. He's placing the weight of the world on his shoulders and it's just putting everything in more danger. His confrontation with Fisk was intense. At first, you think he has the upper hand, but it's clear he doesn't. Finally, as I said, the ending was intriguing. I have to know what happens next.

The meeting between Matt and Fisk was amazing. D'Onofrio is always a delight to watch in this role. It's the perfect marriage between actor and character. I think that scene showed Cox at his best this season.
I also enjoyed Elektra's fight against the guy Stick sent.
It seems like this season has settled into a groove at this point, even though there are only three episodes left. I don't know how Matt is going to handle all these Hand agents, along with those demon kids. I'll have to find out in a day I guess. |
