I'll give my review. Spoilers (obviously):
The first issue of Saladin Ahmed's run. It's obvious that it's going to have a lot of exploration of faith. It's interesting coming from a Muslim man, but Ahmed embraces it wholeheartedly. There's a sense of both the universality of faith as a strengthening force and the alienness of it to those who aren't followers. I don't know if he chose the new status quo, but it works wonderfully. The demonic being or whatever it is works well. It's genuinely creepy. Reminds me of Spirited Away with that sense of body horror. Zdarsky obviously explored faith in the end, but went in the direction of the Hand. I'm glad to see something different. The art is very solid, but the colorist shines. Honestly, it reminds me of Guardian Devil. I didn't like Quesada's art for how sexualized Natasha was, but I loved the use of red and this follows that.
Side note: I'm really amused at the Priests saying damn and hell a lot. Catholics are a lot looser with it, but it fits the idea of him being an unconventional priest.
Four and a Half Stars. It's just getting started so I hesitated to give it five, but I really enjoyed it. _________________ Matt Murdock's cooler twin brother

I'd give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety's sake!
