Issue Summary

Summary/Review by Michael Deeley

An angry Spider-Man is threatening Foggy Nelson, whom he thinks is Daredevil! Matt Murdock and Karen Page are able to calm Spider-Man down and he leaves in a huff. But Foggy gets the idea to let Karen think he IS Daredevil to win her love! Matt worries Foggy is putting his life in danger.

Meanwhile, there's still the Masked marauder to catch. Murdock visits Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson with a plan to trap the Marauder and Spider-Man. At DD's request, Jonah goes on TV to claim the engine plans the Marauder stole are useless without a special fuel formula. Peter Parker knows he has to protect that "formula" to clear his name. The Marauder wants the "formula" to sell the engine as a weapon to foreign governments. The auto company can't believe Jonah would be so stupid as to invite a robbery!

DD and Spidey meet and fight once again. But the sudden appearance of a blimp announces the Marauder's arrival. Spidey takes down the Marauder's gang, but is blinded by a blast from the villain's visor. Daredevil jumps in and takes the bad guy down easily, the Marauder's eye-blast of course being useless against a blind man. DD blows up the blimp and keeps the gang around until the police arrive. Unfortunately, the Marauder escapes in the confusion. DD sticks around long enough to defend Spider-Man.

On the street, the disguised Marauder overhears Foggy and Karen talking. Foggy makes Karen think he is Daredevil without actually admitting it. And the Marauder believes him too!
