Okay, by now you guys know that X-Men made a killing at the box office it's first weekend out. So, what did the Daredevil fans think of the third installment of X-Men? Grade it. And, by all means, elaborate.

I thought it was ok. I give a B- in all total view of it. I think it pushed too many new characters in there instead of story which killed it a bit. It was fun in some parts..but it lacked when you thought it was getting better. I mean...you put in Juggernaut obviously you want to see Colossus fight him. The Beast was very good, I loved Kelsey Grammer...really brought out the fun of the character much like the cartoon did in the 90's. The first X-Men was good, you had to introduce the world and characters, X2 had a great story to tell albeit as much as I love Wolverine, Cyclops is always second string in the films. Also with the intro of a new director to the films it sets a whole diff. vibe in the way things are done. Too much fazz in effects, not too much in dev. of characters take in the film. In what true development fell into Singer falling out of X3, being that pre-production was taking too much time or WB made a better offer...Singer had the X-Men films in Spades... |

I thought the movie was okay. But, to be honest, I don't know why Hugh Jackman is insisting on a solo WOLVERINE movie, since all three X-Men movies have basically revolved around him. I'm actually on board with the previous two votes. I'm grading it a B minus. The special effects were pretty cool, but the short running time of the movie did have a negative effect, mainily lack of real character development. Heck, even Storm and Logan weren't really developed further despite their dominant screen time. The Beast was super cool, like Nightcrawler was last movie. I was hugely disappointed in the Iceman/Pyro fight. Really lame. And, the fanboy in me truly wanted a Colossus/Juggernaut showdown. And, Phoenix was, well, not Phoenix. Still, the movie was fun to watch. Depsite the fact that the movie was really an exercise in action since ultiamtely, who are we kidding, no one dies (or at least, doors are left wide open) and no one got cured (Magneto revelation at the end, and the seceret scene post-credits).

Not as good as the previous two, but entertaining enough. Better than I thought it would be. _________________ "Why should I be frightened of dying?

I agree. It was better than I thought it would be, but I'm only giving it a B-. They wasted the Juggernaut. What's the point of putting him in a movie if he isn't going to play a bigger part, or be used effectively? And he's not a mutant, so how can Leech take away his ability?
But I actually prefered this one overall to the second one. This one actually united everybody against a common threat, as opposed to the second one which had everybody going off on their seperate fights. Plus, the heroes pay a dear price, which actually makes this one feel like The Empire Strikes Back of X-Men movies.
Still, I can't actually remember how the Rogue plot ended up, or if it actually went anywhere. |

For the record, Juggs is a mutant; he has a latent mutant gene that was awakened by the mystic runes on his armor.

i didnt think that it was up to much i mean i enjoyed it and gave it a b- but only on the coolness factor.
i dont know what everyone else thought but it was realy soppy and it didnt and shouldnt have been. I agree that it should have some romantic scenes but they shoud have been at the right moment not randomly ice skating on a frozen pond. i also thought juggs was pants but well thats just me. |
