Issues may be a day late where you are. But what did you think of them once you got them? _________________ 2006 Pull List Awards

Devi #1 Boobs and demons! Sign me up for 5 more issues!
Clive Barker's Great and Secret Show #4 I love the artwork and the story gets better with each issue.
Hack/Slash Hard Slice A good taster. I'm going to order the First Cut TPB from InStockTrades.com.
Y: The Last Man #47 some character history of Dr. Mann. Not much plot development this issue but I love this book. _________________ Poser

Detective Comics #821 - I decided to stay with Detective, not just Batman. I figured it at least deserved a chance to be good. Let me tell you. I was still pleasantly surprised when it was good.
Paul Dini is writing one issue arcs. The pacing is quick and a lot happens in just a few pages. If I were someone looking to get (back) into the swing of Batman continuity, this would be the perfect place to start.
Y: The Last Man #47 - Dr. Mann gets more of a back story. At first I thought Vaughn was setting up something obvious, a way out which everyone could predict. Then the true nature becomes clear.
Let me just say something and hope it never comes up. I need to know what killed all of the males on the planet. If they never determine what it was, if they simply come up with a cure and shrug I'll be disappointed. I have faith Vaughn knows that, knows where he's going and has all along. I would really be dissapointed if that's the way it plays out. _________________ 2006 Pull List Awards
