Quite an interesting week for me:
Batman - this could well decide whether Morrison's run is even worth following for me. His first couple of issues were good, but the last one took the story in a direction I don't much care for.
Criminal - got to support it!
Detective Comics - As with Batman, I was impressed by the first couple of issues from this writer, but Dini's last couple just haven't done it for me. On the "to-drop" list if it doesn't win me over this month.
Ex Machina - Consistently great, and I really want to find out what's going on with last month's cliffhanger...
What If? Avengers Disassembled - A wild card. Could be lots of fun and make something interesting out of a story which was a bit of a mess. Then again, it could not. |

Detective #825 - These one-offs which have a running thread have been spectacular. If I were recommending one book right now, this would probably be it. There's a little something for everybody, new fans or old, hardcores or casuals.
Ex Machina #24 - Turning the far post and heading for home. The good news is that's still two years away. This book still needs to find its consistency. But the good is very good and I'll still be reading.
What If? Avengers - I'm a sucker for these types of things and I read Disassembled the first time around. This book is basically aimmed at me. _________________ 2006 Pull List Awards
