I think Batman could figure out the hypersenses in less than a week spent observing/gathering information on Matt Murdock/DD.

P.S.
Wow. Now that I said this I can officially declare myself a comic book geek.

But, wouldn't Matt know he was being observed in the first place?? Chicken or the egg?

Well Batman snuck up on Superman before.

Except that Superman's senses seem to work quite differently. Unless he is consciously trying to hear or see something beyond what he normally sees or hears then his super senses aren't generally active (which is probably why he is often easily surprised by attacks). Yet DD's senses are always on, so to speak.

No. Then Batman would obviously know Matt has super senses and a radar. And, he would know how to bypass them, no doubt. Because, like Bendis married "knowing Matt is DD" with "knowing Matt has supersenses and a radar", others have also married "knowing Matt has supersenses" with "knowing how to bypass them."

But how would he automatically know how to "bypass" them? What can Batman do?

Edit: I didn't see that you added to your post. So disregard this.

I'm not saying that he would know how to bypass them. I too hated that bit.
Yet, I think it would be impossible for Matt to hide the fact that he has a kind of perception that greatly differs from normal sight.

The scenario I'm imagining is one where Batman (damn I feel ridiculous but I must continue...) is in the batcave and observes tapes of DD fighting... whatever, let's say Mr Hyde..., and he mumbles, and compares it with tapes of Murdock walking out of the tribunal, surrounded by news reporters, and he watches these and other videos again and again, and he mumbles, and Alfred brings him a mug of coffee, and then checks them in slow motion, pausing when he notice a normally unusual movemente, you know, and then he double checks the info he has gathered regarding Matt Murdock, and his accident etc. etc.

Re Matt, his senses and his secret.

Reading the old DD issues which have been reprinted, I gather that, while in San Fran, Matt lived with Natasha (and Ivan): Murdock was known to the public as the Widow's sweetheart/lay... and then Daredevil was seen jumping about the rooftops with the Black Widow and being occasionally cuddly with each other... I wonder how no-one back then (apart from Cranston, etc...) reached some conclusions (until liberal Californians didn't censor what they thought a Murdock-Natasha-DD threesome).

(and then there's that bit where Natasha adresses Daredevil as "Matt")

Shouldn't Batman be out fighting crime instead of watching 1) DD fight and 2) Matt Murdock talking to reporters (the fact that Matt is making the SAME moves while fighting Mr. Hyde and talking with reporters is kind of odd, though).

How Bats deciphers super senses and a radar with these two videos is beyond me, though. What did Alfred put in the coffee??

Funny, that's like wondering how come for more than seventy years no one ever noticed the uncanny resemblance between Clark Kent and Superman. Answer: That's comics, baby! Wink

The on-going Batman/Daredevil comparisons/similarities are age-old, and interesting. However, for my hard earned sheckles, I would argue that Daredevil more closely resembles Superman than Batman.

How so? Well, Daredevil must mask his supersenses, especially his all seeing radar, in order to convince the world he is blind, much like Superman must mask his superpowers to convince the world he is merely mortal. To play down superpowers of any kind must be the hardest thing for a superhero to do. One little slip, in any which way, and the jigg's up. Even though Matt's blind, he must always be conscious of the fact that he has to fake his blindness. He's got to be constantly tapping that cane, pretending to occasionally walk in a gingerly manner and purposely, rather than accidentally, bumping into desks. Imagine that, he's got to occasionally be hurting himself. And what about Clark Kent when he's having sex? Think about it...

How liberating it must be for Matt to dispense with the act and become Daredevil and Clark Kent to become Superman.

(Mind you, Matt's blindness becomes a great cover for all the cuts, bumps and bruises he incurs beating up the bad guys. People assume those superficial wounds are the result of his blindness.)

Eventually, people started realizing that Natasha, and Ivan for that matter, were living with Matt and fighting crime with DD and finally put 3+3 together. So Matt did what many Stan Lee heroes did to keep their identies secret, he got someone to dress up like Daredevil and be seen in public with Matt Murdock. In this case it was the Black Panther. Yeah, I realize it wasn't Stan who wrote this particular story, but the writer (was it Conway?) went with the always reliable method.
