These are cross-stitches I made on my computer using Microsoft Paint.
I then stitched them by hand right off the computer.
I do good work yeah? Feel free to comment.

Looks cool.
ALSO: Apparently Daredevil relate crafts are about 5000 times more popular than I even imagined. _________________ JC

Actually I used to just stitch tiger paws and stuff like that because i'm a major Clemson Tiger fan. But then one night I was watching Daredevil on tv and it just hit me. I said to myself "Greg, if you can take a tiger or a tiger paw and make a pattern out of it then why not do the same with Daredevil." I found a picture, took me a couple of weeks to make the pattern, then about 3 months to stitch, and I found I had an even better talent than I thought.

That is awesome! You have actually inspired me to try to make a small knitted Daredevil doll (a have a generic "person pattern" lying around somewhere), just for the fun of it. Maybe figurines in some kind of plastic clay might work too, since I have some of that lying around. Hmmm...
Speaking of cross-stiching, when I was around twelve I did a few cross-stitching renditions of some Super Mario villains (namely the scary-looking brown mushroom, the walking bomb that looks like a helmet, the hammer-throwing turtle - complete with hammers - and one of the dragons). But, they were nowhere near as impressive as your Daredevil pattern. Have you ever thought of making two interlaced Ds in the style of monograms and doing that on linen napkins or something? That might be a neat idea too.
Have you seen Darediva's quilts by the way? They're spectacular! _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

I'm so happy i've inspired you to do something.
You see I cross-stitch because the fabric is premade. You know it already has the holes in it. I'm sure there would be a way to make napkins but then you can't use them you know. I could do the interlaced D's and maybe get them framed into coasters. That way they can be used and still be protected.
I haven't seen Darediva's quilts. Where would I have to go to view those?

Yeah, with linen napkins and the like, you have to count the threads which is a little tricky so it takes longer. I used the typical cross-stitching fabric with the holes in it when I made my Super Mario villains, back in the day. The only thing I've done on linen was a homemade pattern of a budding yeast cell (which looks something like THIS, kind of like a bowling pin) that I framed and gave to the last lab I worked at when I quit. It wasn't very big, but my co-workers were quite impressed (probably thought I was nuts though). But DD coasters sounds like it might work.

Hmm, I can't remember the most current link right now, but I'll ask her to post in this thread when she comes online. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers

You know I was thinking I might even be able to sell the coasters. If not the coasters just the interlaced D's. It's kind of hard to sell one as big as Daredevil himself. I mean they take so long to do and they have sentimental value.
Well i'm hungry and I have a taste for Krispy Kreme Donuts.
Gotta run, later Christine.

Really nice job on the cross stitch, saber!
I've moved my pictures of the quilts to Flickr, because Sony Image Station folded, and I've been reworking my other website. You can see them here:
