This may be old news to people, but I just saw this today, looking through Marvel's Q1 2008 market report. Aside from just listing all the future movie projects, it also mentions solid plans for a Spider-Man musical featuring music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge from U2. Now just how the heck are they going to pull this off? I'm all for being optimistic and giving even questionable ideas the benefit of the doubt, but I can't help imagining Spidey shooting webbing on stage while singing show tunes, accompanied by back-up dancers. What do you guys think of this one?
