Okay, so the topic isn't really sticky. BUT: as I've mentioned in another thread, I just picked up the Nocenti Longshot HC and guess who's in it. The Fat Boys! Well, kinda. They don't have their skateboards and Ralph seems to be named "Butch" for some reason (he has the helmet though). Darla is there for sure (she falls in love (and then out of love) with Longshot). I love the Fat Boys. They were the kind of off the wall supporting characters that you don't see much anymore. Needless to say I'm delighted to have run into them again after all these years.

They were at Karen's funeral too. Those kids are rad.

Ya they we're great characters. I didn't know they we're in the Longshot comic. I didn't even remember that Ann wrote that comic! I remember my friend had some of them when I was in Grade 8 and I thought they we're good. He was a cool character and he rocked that 80's mullet hard! Laughing

I definetly have to pick up that hardcover sometime soon. I always loved anything I read that she did.
