My "prioritary problem" with Milla is the fact that she has been through too much. She needs to be given a break. |
OK when has anyone in the Marvel (or even the DC) universe really been given a break? Dear lord, look at the amount of crap that gets piled on DD. Do you really think that Milla will be lucky enough to get a break? |

Look, I don't know if she will be given a break or not. Maybe it won't happen. I've stated somewhere else that I don't believe the current writer has plans for that.
I simply read that she would appear as strong and confident if she "dumped" her husband - or "kicked him to the curb", going with the elegant expression you used - and I felt like expressing my disagreement on this conception. |

If either Bru or the next writer doesn't want her in Matt's life, that's one thing, but I'd like to see her recover (which would also be a victory for DD), and possibly dump him. That way she could come across as the strong and independent woman I think both Bendis and Bru (yes, looking at issue #94) want her to be. |
Unfortunately, even if a cure is found for Milla and she is somehow restored back to health, Milla can't change the fact that she murdered an innocent by-stander. Yes, she was under Fear's influence at the time. Yes, that fact has exonerated her of a crime, but not of committing the act, which is something she will have to live with the rest of her life. As a result, this poor woman's life can never be fully restored.

Yes, that is very depressing and very true. No, I don't think she could live on and be unaffected by it, but I don't think her life would have to be completely ruined. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

Isn't it, like, a ten buck fine if you knock someone in front of a train in New York? Who's life gets ruined over a tenner? _________________ "Show me a superhero without a first aid kit, an I'll show you a NUT!" (Daredevil #9) |

I really liked Milla's character. It really is a shame that they did that to her.
But they seem to be subscribing to the "Heroes" school of character development with her. (ie...Peter's girl friend being stuck somewhere in a future that might or might not still exist) |
