I don't have a whole lot to add to this discussion. (You've already made most of my points and ideas...)
I just want to say that it seems like Brubaker (& Lark, for that matter) is on top of his game for this arc. This arc is so good that I wonder why I buy some of the other comics that I buy. They don't bring me near the amount of happiness that DD does.

When I first came across the final pages I thought... "Wow, Angela's joining the gang, too!"
But my expectations of seeing her teaming up with DD, Black Tarantula and Iron Fist just evaporated in a moment...
...Darn, I hope she can recover, but not at the price of being "Handed"
I enjoyed the issue: my only complaint (as you will guess) is the lack of Nelson presence... I'm gonna get Cold Turkey if I don't get my Foggy dose soon

When the "new girl" told Matt and Dakota about it, I similarly smell something fishy, whenever it is The Hand, The FBI, The Hood, Mr. Fear... Damn! too many possibilities!
On the other hand, it could really be just Milla's parents.

Each day I love more and More the way Brubaker is strenghtening the cast of characters, and Master Izo is truly like the proverbial cherry atop the cake

Actually, the one who immediatly came to my mind, right after the old gent's introduction in the previous issue, was Master Mutenroshi from "Dragon Ball".
I'm sure they are related. _________________ Gloria

Which now brings us to yet another bizzare bit of trivia about Matt and his ladies, which is: The strange connection between The Hand and women who know Matt. We're now up to at least three, they are:
i) Elektra
ii) White Tiger
iii) Black Widow - the Hand captured her during WWII when she was a child. It took the combined forces of Wolverine and Captain America to free her.
And maybe it's four women if someone can fill me in about Ronin.

Yeah, I definitely think that Echo/Ronin counts... _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

Yep, Echo was "Elektra-ed" by the Hand in the "Revolution" arc of New Avengers, wasn't she.
Has Natasha ever hung out with them? |

"Hang out" makes it sound so innocent. Ah, if only... Which kind of makes me wonder what Hand ninjas do for fun on their days off.
PS. I had no idea about Natasha either. She's certainly experienced a lot in her many, many years of service. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |
