This is old news really, but has anybody read the White Tiger limited series?
I bought it pretty cheap online, and I'm not going to lie. I kind of like it. It definitely plays off of Daredevil a lot, and references it quite a bit. But this isn't really a bad thing. I was kind of surprised they included the Cobra. But as much of a throw back as it is, its a nice little addition to the story.
I'd suggest it for any DD fan, as its an interesting addition to a collection.
Plus the cover art is amazing. |

I read it a few months back and was actually quite surprised by it. Maybe it was because I didn't really have much expectation going in, but the story wasn't too bad considering it was a further exploration of a fairly new character (new incarnation at least) written by an author other than the one who introduced that incarnation. I've got to agree that Mack's covers were quite good.
Now that you mention it, I may need to try and find a cheap copy of the tpb to add to the 'DD universe' portion of my collection. _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

I was able to get the individual issues for about $1.50 each on mycomicshop.com
A very low price for a good little run. I would have liked to see an ongoing series, but I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon. If she wasn't "killed" by the hand, it would have been cool to see her team up with the Avengers or something. (although her picture did appear in 'The Mighty Avengers #1, while Tony and Ms. Marvel were searching for new members)
Even given the low price, I'd consider these books some of my favorite in my collection.
Notable appearances include:
Spider-Man
Luke Cage
Daredevil (flash backs of Matt Murdock as well as Danny)
Iron Fist
The Cobra
The Lizard (one of the more random appearances) |
