I know you guys are all Daredevil fans and want another movie but let's face it. Daredevil came out nearly 7 years ago. And Kingpin is just as much a Spider-Man villain as he is a Daredevil villain. I want Kingpin in a Spider-man movie and it seems with this reboot happening now might be the time to do it. _________________ "Helpful. Cooperative. Stupid. That's my boys." Frank Castle (a.k.a. No. Since Miller first took over DD in the early 80s, the Kingpin has definitely and solidly been a DD villain. Prior to that...sure he was Spidey's. That changed long, long ago. No villain is more identitifed with Murdock than Fisk, period. Even Bullseye or Elektra take a back seat and owe much of their history with DD to the Kingpin. Like Cap & Red Skull or Batman & Joker....DD and Kingpin should and will forever be linked.
And also emphatically N-O on Marvel/Disney selling any more character rights to Sony. First off the Spidey series is on hold and more importantly...Marvel Studios is trying to establish their own film universe with the Avengers, etc. They need to be able to use their own characters as much as possible. They really need to reel Spidey back in under their banner as well if at all possible.
Besides all that, I am not sure who currently reserves the rights to the DD film property. It was tossed around there for a while. |

Daredevil is still with FOX, who (as reported by Variety) are quietly working on a reboot. _________________ Kuljit Mithra
