No time prior to ask the DD experts on the board so the die has been cast but I just picked up some back issues from e-bay:
Entire runs:
Nocenti VF/NM 53 issues $18
O'Neil VF/NM 28 issues $9
Kessel NM 23 issues $10.5
I have been picking up the trades when they come out but to me they have become a bit pricey.
I was the only bidder so either the issues are lacking or there is no demand.
Thoughts appreciated after the fact. |

I pretty much got all my back issues from one of three places on eBay.
Then again, they do free postage in the U.K., so I got a better deal than someone Stateside would.
Single issues are probably easier and cheaper to get than trades. I know for a fact that you can get the issues of Born Again for at LEAST as much as a hardback trade of the same story. |

There are some bargains on ebay at the moment.
I picked up some early vol.1 issues (7,48,49,50,51) towards completing my collection last week for really good prices
only about 100 issues to go now! |

A slow economy will do that.
You are right though there are bargains to be had. I had to refrain myself on a nice set of Marv Wolfman and Frank Miller issues. The Miller issues were bid up a bit but nothing crazy.
Good luck on those last 100 issues !
OT: There was a tremendous offering of Incredible Hulk issues on e-bay . 5 straight years of David's run plus earlier issues in NM conditon that went for $33. I was super tempted but I shot my load on the DD issues. |
