DAREDEVIL #14 ships June 20th, by Mark Waid & Chris Samnee, and here's the preview!

Please use this thread for all your comments, reviews and discussion about the issue.

There are also 2 variant covers that the DD completists will want to look for.

An historic issue, since it marks the first appearance of someone we all know and respect already.

Waid, as always, does a great job, and by issue's end has me wondering how Daredevil is going to get through this.

Samnee's art seems somewhat sloppy in places, but he does a good enough job mimicking Paolo Rivera's depiction of the radar sense (which seems now to be the new standard).

Since our webmaster is a very modest fellow, let me say that it's the coolest thing EVER to see him appear in the pages of DD as a character.

Congratulations, Kuljit!

That was indeed very cool. Congrats Kuljit!
And, what a fantastic issue- I DO NOT want to wait a month to find out what happens- that is how you do a cliffhanger! Kudos to Waid for another great issue.
The art was top notch as well. I would have no problem with Samnee as the regular artist.

I couldn't believe it when I read Kuljit's name in the issue. It was a very cool thing to do, and if anybody deserves that kind of "honor" -- it's Kuljit.

The rest of the issue was really good, and I am excited about the next issue.

If I had one nitpick about the issue, it was that some of the inking was too heavy -- I would have liked some of the lines thinner.

But all in all, Daredevil continues to be in my five favorite comics of the moment!

Congratulations, Kuljit! How flippin' cool is that? When I read it, I got excited as if one of my close friends got a guest spot on TV. Fantastic issue.

I prefer the darker stories of Daredevil, but I'm really enjoying this run so far. Good writing, good art, good everything.

Thanks everyone. It was indeed a surprise. I don't want to go overboard about it, but the best reaction I got was from my Mom. I gave her a copy of the comic and the expression on her face was just sheer joy when I described what was going on. I'll never forget that.

I can't believe that I forgot about this! This was a fantastic surprise. Long overdue I'd say. I can't wait for the ultimate version of Kuljit. I bet he kills. Wink

It brought a smile to my face reading your name in that issue.

I haven't posted here for many years now - life, work and a family has left me with less and less time for comics reading (let alone reviewing), and I've fallen out of touch with many messageboards that I used to frequent regularly. But I'm currently catching up with Waid's DD in OHC format, and I just got to #14 - and seeing Kuljit's appearance put a huge smile on my face. Smile You're immortal now!

Good to see so many regulars still around on the board anyway, and after losing track of DD during Shadowland, I'm glad to see the book back in such good hands with Waid.
