I would highly recommend everyone from this site to pick up Winter Soldier #12, if you haven't already. You would never know it from the cover, but Daredevil makes an appearance, and it's a big one. Obviously Daredevil will be in #13 as well. It's been a while since Ed Brubaker has written for Matt Murdock, and it's nice to see Matt make an appearance in the Marvel book Ed has always wanted to write.

probably they'll fight a bit and in the end the winter soldier will beat DD to show how badass he is.

Marvel never misses an opportunity to make DD the weakest of their heroes, but losing to a kid sidekick would be a humiliation beyond belief.
In my fantasies, he kicks Bucky back the the 1940s where he should have stayed and finally gets back with Black Widow.

I'd totally read a story like that. As for Winter Soldier... he's brubaker's pet, and Bru has a history of writing DD being humiliated by villains, getting beaten up by henchmen and even having difficulties handling a team up consisting of a hospitalized dwarf and a physician with a fire extinguisher (I'm not making this up), so go figure.

LOL, it says it all about Marvel's treatment of DD as a punching bag that it would even occur to anyone that he could lose a fight to Bucky. I can't imagine that about any other front line hero.
And the Bucky/Black Widow relationship is already bad enough to think about.

Oh, come on, there have been worse relationships. Take for example Bendis boring the crap out of everyone with Luke Cage + Jessica Jones + their baby and now with Hawkeye + Spider-woman.

Well, considering that Bucky worked & trained with Captain America, *The Greatest Fighter in the Marvel Universe*, then I wouldn't be surprised if fans believed Matt would lose such a fight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but seeing as how Bendis likes to describe Matt as a 'horndog', then wouldn't Natasha fall into the same boat given her history? Wink

Cap trained Tony Stark to fight without his armor, along with Hank Pym without his size and Hawkeye without his weapons... could they beat Matt too? This is Bucky... a kid sidekick who needed a gun to beat the Eel. Just how low does DD rank? It's not Bucky's prowess that's at issue anyway, it's DD's history of getting beaten up and humiliated that makes fans assume the worst whenever he meets anyone.

Everyone and his dog has been trained by Cap, in the Marvel Universe. That said, the way I see it DD is much more agile than Bucky and has the advantage of the radar sense. What does Bucky have? An artificial arm and a ridiculous domino mask?

It seems that I have more respect for the Winter Soldier than others on this board. Ever since Brubaker brought Bucky back, he's become one of my favourite characters in the Marvel Universe. And while it's a feat of retcon, to me the Bucky/Natasha relationship makes perfect sense, and has been handled very well.

I don't want to see Bucky get the better of Daredevil either. I think given Daredevil's enhanced senses, he should have the upper hand. But Daredevil will be holding back, and the Winter Soldier is currently brainwashed, and under orders to kill Daredevil. I must say, I'm looking forward to the next issue.
