Is the Echo - Vision Quest TPB worth getting? It seems to have an inflated price relating to every other Daredevil TPB that I have got so far.
The reviews state that it doesnt further the story much after and it may be worth jumping to vol 9. I was wondering what others though? |

You won't miss a beat by skipping out.
It's really only about Echo, DD barely plays a role. I am keeping my copy just to have it, but I'm also on edge because it's the only hardcover I have in my DD collection besides DD:Reborn. It almost looks out of place on my shelf.
When I bought mine, I couldn't find the paperback...

Yeah, I'm not too keen to get the HC version as it will stick out. I think I'll keep looking for the TPB. Hopefully I can grab a deal. |

Deals are out there! You just have to be patient.
I just bagged Visionaries Frank Miller 1-3 (with a 2nd vol. 1), Born Again, Love's Labor Lost, and Typhoid Mary TPB on eBay for $51!
I'm waiting for delivery for confirmation of condition, but they are supposed to all be in VF-NM condition. |

Lol I could only get it in HC too. But my Man Without Fear is also HC.
Anyway, to answer your question, it's not worth getting if you only want DD related stories. It's all about Echo, a little Matt and also some Wolverine.
However, as Mack fan, I think its great. The art is absolutely stunning (as always). The Hugh Jackman depiction of Wolverine was very cool.
It gives you a much more in-depth look at Echo. In fact after reading it, I put the character right up there with Elektra. |

Wasn't it basically confirmed at some point the Vision Quest was meant to be an Echo mini-series that they just dumped into DD? _________________ JC

Yeah I have been looking for a copy of vision quest, the tpb version. But it and a lot of other DD trades are actually pretty hard to find. _________________ "This ones for you Matt" - Jack Murdock |
