Interesting. Don't know a lot about him but I'm happy they're moving forward. Hopefully it's dark and gritty like Quesada promised.

Wow, finally! Have no idea who this dude is but that might be a good thing. Keep reading that he's pretty great in Boardwalk Empire so maybe I should check that out. He hasn't got that classical Matt look but abit more scruffy. He could def pull of the bearded Born Again look.

Also guys, on twitter another actor who you may be more familiar with seems to suggest his own involvement. I hope to God it's Bullseye because he would knock that role out of the park. Just search for #Daredevil and keep your eyes open!

I know a Cox from Boarwalk Empire and is very good actor, but not physically see it as Matt Murdock. Crying or Very sad

I watched "Stardust" yesterday, which I would heartily recommend. Charlie Cox is excellent in it, though I think it's going to take a while to get used to him as MM/DD. For a start, he's shorter than I would've hoped, and definitely hasn't got the physique yet; hope he'll be working out before filming starts!
Had to laugh when his character faced off against his nemesis Humphrey, played by Superman himself Henry Cavill!
"Kick-Ass" director Matthew Vaughn is at the helm, and does a fantastic job on this great film. If you haven't seen it, you really must. Two thumbs up!

I've never heard of Charlie Cox before now...which is a good thing since it means I have no preconceptions over how good or bad a choice he is.

Hello all. I haven't posted in years. I recognize a few names. I just thought I'd chime in. I just started watching Boardwalk Empire. I am in the middle of season two. When I saw the image of Charlie Cox I didn't think he had the right look for Daredevil. After watching him, I am sold. The main thing is he is charming and I think that is a good trait for Matt. He also has a good intensity. He needs to buff up but i think he has great potential.

Charlie Cox is cool I liked him in the Stardust movie a lot, one of the few movies I can watch again and again like 12 monkeys. I recommend it.
I think he has great good balance between humor and realism.
Just hope the whole cast have great lines and scenes that's what would really nail it. Not soap opera or sitcom lines and scenes

Ha! That's actually pretty clever!
