|
|
I thought it would be fun to see what easter eggs are scattered throughout the season, especially since some of us may have caught things that others missed.
I'll start with an obvious one for DD fans. The Greek girl that Matt and Foggy talked about in the college flashback was obviously Elektra. Yes, I know that's an exceptionally obvious one for most DD fans . Another cool one was in the Stick episode, it certainly looked like the person Stick was talking to at the end was Stone, another member of the group that Stick belonged to in the comics called The Chaste. What did you guys catch while watching the season?
Here's a handy list for your copy and pasting needs as we fill in the blanks.
Daredevil: Episode 1 - "Into the Ring"
Daredevil: Episode 2 - "Cut Man"
Daredevil: Episode 3 - "Rabbit in a Snow Storm"
Daredevil: Episode 4 - "In the Blood"
Daredevil: Episode 5 - "World on Fire"
Daredevil: Episode 6 - "Condemned"
Daredevil: Episode 7 - "Stick"
Stick seemed to be reporting to Stone at the end of the episode
Daredevil: Episode 8 - "Shadows in the Glass"
Daredevil: Episode 9 - "Speak of the Devil"
Daredevil: Episode 10 - "Nelson v. Murdock"
Greek girl was obvious Elektra reference
Daredevil: Episode 11 - "The Path of the Righteous"
Daredevil: Episode 12 - "The Ones We Leave Behind"
Daredevil: Episode 13 (Season Finale) - "Daredevil" |

Apparently you can see Stilt-Man's legs in Melvin Potter's work shop. That is about as close as Stilt-Man is going to get to every appearing in the MCU. |

Daredevil: Episode 6 - "Condemned"

Arguably the best easter egg was that the hitman who was disguised as a swat officer and sniped the cop was none other than Bullseye.
No one can convince me that that card in his pack is not an Ace of Spades.
It was a nice nod to the character without a name drop and you can't look at the scene the same once you know. |

Wow. I did not catch that at all! How many minutes into the episode do we see that?
Also, even before thinking it was Bullseye, I was wondering, did the sniper hit that detective in the right spot? In other words, was he supposed to live? I kinda thought he was supposed to die but missed slightly.
If it is a miss, does this mean we have a more "realistic" version of Bullseye? And if it is not a miss, what was the purpose of keeping the detective alive but wounded? Obviously they tried to kill him immediately after that. |

Daredevil: Episode 1 "Into the Ring"
The image being stamped onto the drug packets looks very much like Iron Fist's tattoo.
We get a quick glimpse of the Creel vs. Murdock fight poster in Fogwell's Gym.
I'll keep looking. Fun stuff. _________________ Alice

Wait. Why is that Bullseye? Who cares if it's an Ace of Spades?
You're reaching. _________________ JC

I'd like to think that no version of Bullseye would miss with a sniper rifle... |

Yeah. But it's not clear he missed? I feel like the audience was lead to believe he was aiming at Ben but that maybe shooting the officers was the plan all along?
In any case - no. Not Bullseye. _________________ JC

I may be wrong as I've only been able to watch a low res upload on YouTube, but I think I saw Leland Owlsley trying on some green fabric while he was at Melvin Potter's workshop with Fisk. _________________ Life and its twisted sense of humor... with me as its butts of jokes... |

Also when Matt drops into the shop there's a Gladiator logo on the shelf/wood think behind him. _________________ JC

might be a stretch, but in the scene of karen and foggy hitting on the door of matts apartment, wanting him to party with them, foggy (obviously very drunk) said he has eel powers now, because he drank that liquor with the eel in it.
sooo...

I love, and completely missed, the Stilt-Man easter egg. They look just as awful and hilarious as you'd expect from the character. |
