Yes, it broke new ground and identified a way of appealling to both hardcore comic fans, casual DD readers, and those brand new to the character.
There were no watering down of characters or corny dialogue that patronized audiences.
The action scenes were the best I've seen in a TV show, the dramatic scenes had heart, and the music was awesome.
It's changed the superhero game for television, and as JJ, Cage, and Iron Fist come out, we'll see more shows mimic the formula. |

It is easily the best super hero TV show, I wouldn't even say there is anything close in any aspect.
I'd also argue it's one of the best action TV shows ever made. |
