Which books will Daredevil be appearing in? The Accused and the Fallen? Anyone have release dates? Is it not a big enough appearance for it to appear on the solicits or is it just a bit away?
Thanks |

Accused is August 10th.
Fallen is August 17th.
I can add them to the solicits if you'd like... they were "classified" until a few weeks ago, so we didn't know DD was a part of it until that reveal. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

I don't think he's in The Fallen, but I could be wrong.
He was in the last Civil War II issue (and might be in the next one, I'm not sure). _________________ Matt Murdock's cooler twin brother

I just read The Accused. If you think the main story's handling of Daredevil is stupid because it is very inconsistent with what's going on in his own book, this story helps with that. If you think the main story's handling of Daredevil is stupid because you have a basic understanding of how legal proceedings work, but Bendis doesn't, then this story helps with that. Otherwise, it's a fine story with a serviceable plot beyond what we already saw in Civil War II that has a few good character moments for Matt that I appreciated. _________________ Matt Murdock's cooler twin brother

He appears briefly in Agents of Shield #8, but he's pretty much used as a plot device. However

Last issue Coulson was fired from S.H.I.E.L.D. This month, on the last page, we find out that Elektra has been brought in to replace him. |

I thoroughly enjoyed The Accused. Some really great character moments for Matt, and it was just fun to see him actually in a courtroom again. |

I just finished reading The Accused. I agree. It's excellent, and it's the best Daredevil story we've gotten in a while. The art from Ramon Bachs and Garry Brown wasn't the best, but Marc Guggenheim's script was top notch.
We all know that Matt is well acquainted with both Bruce Banner and Clint Barton, so I was a little thrown by Matt's very candid dialogue with Barton about how his job is to "make certain that your life ends at the point of a needle." But I admire how he listened to what Barton's attorney had to say, did some digging and adjusted his strategy while sticking to his principles. I've always said that Matt is one of the noblest characters in the Marvel Universe, and this just further emboldens my position.
I have big problems with Civil War II, but at least we got this legal caper out of it. I'll make sure to pick up Fallen tomorrow. |
