This feels like a retcon done right. I thought it was a bit odd doing an anniversary issue as issue two, but it worked well. The bad guy is still ambiguous enough that I don't know whether he's entirely truthful, but he comes across as a formidable threat regardless. The issue was dark and very intense.

Goldy is certainly an interesting idea for a villain. I like how he has been woven into Daredevil's history. I just thought the issue's ending came off as a bit of a cheat. |
