Has anyone seen the Comic version of the DD windup? I have the movie version and have been looking for the comic version and have yet to find it anywhere. |

Yes, I have bought both at Toys r' us. I purchased the comic version about two or three months ago and then about a month ago found the movie wind up. I personally like the movie one better, the comic one is very child-like(but hey, I am an adult who buys wind up toys of comic book characters, who am I to complain?). I haven't seen the comic verion there in awhile. Eric |

I got both of mine at Toys R Us. The comic version I got back in the spring, and I haven't seen any more since then. The movie version I picked up in June or July. Honestly, they are some of the creepiest DD toys I've ever seen, but I still got them being the "serious" (yeah, how serious can a person be if they collect comic toys?) collector I guess I am. I see the movie version turn up on ebay, but haven't seen the comic version in a while. Happy hunting! _________________ Alice

Those do look a little strange. I like the movie version a little better than the comic version. |

I was just at the Marvel web site and they have both for purchase. Go to the main page and at the top hit the "shop" icon and then search on Daredevil. If you haven't found them elsewhere. Eric.
Also, Alice was right about the comic version, I couldn't place what was wrong with the face but it's down right creepy. It is the toy I vote most likely that if came to life would stick a kitchen knife in you ankle. (as was said in the Halloween special of the Simpsons about the talking Krusty doll, "Here's your problem, the doll 's set to evil.") That! is what the wind-up looks like. |
