Issue Summary

Summary by Eric Shaw

DD and Tasha are out for a night swing in their new home of San Francisco when she suddenly mistimes a swing and starts to fall...EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! She's caught by Daredevil and they land safely. She tells Matt that she was suddenly attacked by fear. They make their way back to their North Shore Mansion and are greated by an irate Ivan. Natasha breaks up the boys argument by opening up about something called Project Four.

Natasha takes the story over moving the scene back to 1964 Los Angeles. This was all before any fight with Iron Man, Clint or the Avengers. Danny French picks her up just like that and soon they are off downtown. But before they get far, a car tailing them begins to shoot. Natasha retrieves a hand gun from the glove compartment and returns fire sending the other car off a steep cliff and exploding!

Her story ends there as someone comes to the door of the Mansion. It's Larry Cranston and someone new named Jason Sloan. Matt senses that Mr. Sloan is a master manipulator. They have come to persuade Matt to join their law firm. As quickly as they arrives they then split.

The next day as ol' horn head swings into town he too is inexplicably struck by fear! He crashes into an office building in a panic. Next thing we know he's at the cop shop with Lt. Carson downing some joe to calm his nerves. DD beats a hasty path out the next open window as Carson ponders a do gooders life.

Meanwhile Madam Natasha is downtown trying to break into the world of fashion at a world renowned magazine. Once again sudden panic takes over her! She gets a grip, gets into her hero toggs and jumps out the nearest window looking for Danny French who she is convinced is behind her attacks of fear. Soon she runs into DD. They consult and Tasha continues her story about Project Four.

Our scene changes to the Nevada desert where Danny and Natasha are staked out near a compound that Danny says is the home to the Project Four doomsday machine. He tries to kiss our heroine but is rebuffed and then they are discovered! Their assult on the compound begins in earnest. Making their way to the basement level Natasha nabs a glowing globe while Danny disposes of the scientist with a leathal gas bomb. Tahsa says that they were both duped by their commanders into stealing the globe. Apparently Danny still has the device and has used it to create mini earthquakes.

Our Heroes take to the swing line again when DD is AGAIN struck by fear and starts to plummet to his death!
