Arts at MIT's Creative Arts Competition crowned its winner on April 30th, and taking first prize was Project Daredevil (Hapticomix).
Project Daredevil makes VR for the blind using 3D radio-dramas. Team members Daniel Levine and Matthew Shifrin were on hand to pick up their prize.
Shifrin, who is blind, named the project after his favourite superhero, Daredevil, and the pilot will be the first issue of the Mark Waid/Paolo Rivera run.
The project aims to give the blind full access to comic books.
Congratulations to Project Daredevil (Hapticomix), winner of the 15K Creative Arts Competition! #art #entrepreneurship #artsatmit
