While the rumors of his casting appeared earlier today online, Deadline has seemingly confirmed the news from insider DanielRPK, that actor Michael Gandolfini has been cast in an unknown role in Daredevil: Born Again.
The son of actor James Gandolfini will join Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio.
"Details about Gandolfini’s character are being kept under wraps; it’s possible that he plays an ambitious guy from Staten Island referred to as Liam. Reps for Marvel and Gandolfini had no comment."
Speculation is that Gandolfini is playing Richard Fisk (or Butch), or maybe even Sammy Silke.
