VARIETY is reporting that director Joe Carnahan is in negotiations to take over the DAREDEVIL reboot, but there are other back-room dealings with Marvel that are making things interesting.
Apparently the deadline for a DD movie to get started production is October 10th, but Marvel has suggested a trade of character rights... they want the rights to Silver Surfer and Galactus in exchange for extending the deadline for getting the DD movie started.
What do you think? Should FOX do the deal?
UPDATE:
Now Deadline is reporting that FOX is not considering the exchange of character rights and may just let the Daredevil rights lapse unless they can work out a co-financing deal with Marvel.
