On Twitter, director Joe Carnahan revealed who he would have liked in the Daredevil role had his vision for the movie been given the go ahead.

Actor Joel Edgerton, who appeared in Carnahan's SMOKIN' ACES in 2006, was Carnahan's choice. Coincidently, Edgerton appeared with ELEKTRA actress Jennifer Garner in this year's THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN:
The actor has also played Owen Lars in the STAR WARS prequels, and the recent THE THING.
