Film School Rejects had a chance to speak with director David Slade, who you all know was going to direct a DD movie for FOX, but he ultimately had to choose HANNIBAL over DD. Slade reveals that his vision for the movie was very similar to what Joe Carnahan planned, and DD would have been in his yellow costume.
