Earlier in the day, Deadline reported that Netflix is looking to spinoff Punisher from the second season of Daredevil.
While not official, this Punisher series would be in addition to Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Defenders.
This afternoon, Entertainment Weekly had an interview with actor Jon Bernthal about his role as Frank Castle.
"This is a guy who pushes the envelope. He's brutal, but he's coming from a place of unbelievable hurt. And the best thing about the character is he just doesn’t care. It's a highly personal mission he's on and if he offends you, it's completely unimportant to him."
