Issue Summary

Summary by Alice Lynch

Ben Urich is taken to a federal prison by U.S. Marshals to meet with Wilson Fisk. Fisk has summoned Urich to be witness to what he has to say to the FBI director. Urich finds Fisk alone in the huge prison in a very posh cell.

Back in Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil stops some bank robber with a public beatdown. He returns the cash to the startled banker, and the people in the streets begin to applaud and cheer for him. He smiles. (Write this down, since it won't happen again for a long time.)

Back at the prison, Fisk pulls open Urich's shirt to expose his hidden wire, and comments on the scar he finds. He knows Elektra is the cause. Fisk then mentions the book Urich wrote about Norman Osborn, and says he knows Urich got sued, but he's not going to go the same coward's route as Osborn. Instead, he tells Urich he is going to make a deal with the government. He tells Urich to take notes, that this will be tomorrow's headline. Fisk says Urich is his deal insurance, because the feds are crooks, and he just wants to get out of the country. Full disclosure.but not about himself.

In the office of Nelson and Murdock, Foggy and Matt talk about the morning headlines. (One of the best conversations Bendis wrote in DD.) It seems that Daredevil is having some very good press, for the moment, due to the previous day's bank robbery being solved. Foggy wants to celebrate the occasion by going out on the town.to meet some WOMEN. Foggy's even willing to take Matt's leftovers, and tells him so. He thinks Matt owes him this favor! Suddenly, Matt stops in mid-sentence and straightens his tie, just as the secretary interrupts over the intercom. He interrupts her with "Send her in." She tries to continue, "Mr. Murdock, Mr. Urich is on." and Matt cuts her off and says to take a message. In walks Milla Donovan, Matt's former wife.

Later that night, Foggy is walking home on his usual route, and stops at the newsstand. Something is wrong; the news seller doesn't make with the usual banter. Instead, he says, "You didn't see it?" Foggy stares down at the special edition headlines on the Daily Bugle: "Kingpin tells all -- the truth about Murdock revealed."
