Issue Summary

This issue begins with an excellent splash page and a rather humourous intro of DD saving some ungrateful people attempting suicide. But the best part of this issue (besides the new creative team) is the 'return' of Matt Murdock. In the middle of a court room session, Foggy's former partner who has long been thought dead, shows up and causes quite the commotion. Matt explains to everyone that he was in hiding from the Kingpin, with the help of S.H.I.E.L.D.. And now with the Kingpin's influence almost gone, he felt it was safe to make a return. Back at the Nelson (and Murdock) office, a Ms. Sharpe calls and wants to meet with both of the attorneys. She is apparently an attorney from a powerful firm, but Foggy seems to know a bit too much about her.
Later, while DD is jumping across rooftops, he comes across some rather interesting noises coming from a factory. So he decides to check it out. What he finds is Mr. Hyde and a dead woman's body. Hyde decides he doesn't like DD, so he proceeds to try and kill him. The fight ensues until the police arrive where Hyde dares DD to prove that he killed the woman. I'm sure Hyde will be making a return visit next issue.
After this, Matt meets Foggy at Ms. Sharpe's office, and after some excuses as to why they are late, Sharpe makes a proposition to the two. She wants Nelson and Murdock to join her in the firm. But Sharpe takes Matt aside and confides in him that she really doesn't want Foggy, but him. She also drops statements like 'I've known him much longer...' She says that a rejection of the partnership will devastate Foggy, so Matt should think it over carefully...so will he accept? And do you think Ms. Sharpe is Foggy's mother?!?
