District Attorney Kathy Malper earned the nickname the "Dragon Lady" thanks to her vigorous prosecution of Asian crime lords in Manhattan. A die-hard Boston Red Sox fan known for wearing the team's cap in her office, Malper has worked with Daredevil many times, often trading information with the hero as they attempted to bring down the Kingpin. Daredevil first met Malper when he brokered a deal to reinstate Matt Murdock's law license, in exchange for racketeering evidence against one of the Kingpin's media companies.
