Nameless One

Haitian-born Danny Guitar abandoned his voodoo beliefs when he came to America, where he embarked on a life of crime. The voodoo priestess Mambo considered Guitar a dangerous renegade; she created the Nameless One, a zombie of white skin that smelled of death, to silence the expatriate. Daredevil intervened, but was barely able to stop the Nameless One in battle. Years later, the Nameless One killed himself to escape the control of Calypso, Mambo's sister. Requiring a replacement for the zombie, Calypso transformed Daredevil into the Nameless One for a brief period, but the hero successfully broke free of her control.
