Working for the Kingpin to pay off a debt incurred by his mob boss father, Sammy Silke learned from Richard Fisk that the Kingpin knew Matt Murdock was Daredevil. Believing the Kingpin was vulnerable, Silke organized an attack on the Kingpin. When Vanessa Fisk began her retribution on Silke and his partners, Silke tried to get protection from the FBI. Here, he told the agents Daredevil's secret identity. This information was leaked to the press. In prison, Silke was apparently killed by the Kingpin.
