Truly one of Daredevil's most evil villains, the Owl amassed an enormous amount of wealth as a ruthless financier. Using these resources, he embarked on his journey to become one of the world's most powerful underground crime lords. His great strength and sheer animal ferocity has made him one of Daredevil's most feared foes. Throughout his life, the Owl has seen his mysterious powers transform him more and more into his namesake... an owl. These horrible transformations have affected his body as well as his mind. The Owl, never one to align himself with another supervillain, used his wide array of resources and henchman to wreck havoc upon an unsuspecting society. In fact, it was the Owl who fought Daredevil in what is arguably one of the most dramatic and pivotal battles of ol' Hornhead's life (check out issues 80-81 for the details; a true classic!).
