Milla wakes up in the middle of the night to find Matt gone again, out as
Daredevil making up for his time lost protecting Hell's Kitchen. As she
worries, she reflects through her relationship with Matt, from its
beginning when he saved her from an out-of-control truck, to their romance
and marriage, to the outing of his secret identity in the press, to the
revelation that he had married while suffering from a nervous breakdown
after Karen Page's death. Milla left him and filed for divorce, not
wanting to live in the shadow of Karen. Yet she returned, realised she
could do something Karen could not -- be in Matt's life and love him back.
But then Matt was thrown in prison, almost cracking again, followed by a
heartbreaking missing period.
